PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN ARCHIVED POST - Netuitive has since become Metricly, and the tool has matured greatly since the time this was written!
April showers brought May flowers – and new notification methods, dashboard widgets, and usability improvements. This month we are highlighting the addition of OpsGenie support, webhook support for automated response scripts, and multiple metric time series widget. Check out our new releases!
OpsGenie Support
OpsGenie makes it easy to send proactive alerts from Metricly to your team via email, text message, push notification, and voice calls. When you send Metricly events directly to your team via OpsGenie, simply route the messages according to teams, recipients or tags.
These rich notifications enhanced with your Metricly analytics data deliver the supporting information needed to quickly assess each incident and take appropriate action right away.
Webhook Support For Automated Response Scripts
Our latest upgrade allows you to create and define an automated response to policy violations via webhooks. When a policy is violated, Metricly can now automatically trigger predefined response scripts.
For example, a capacity policy could be configured to activate a webhook that starts a script to spin up additional servers. Or, a latency policy could be configured to trigger a restart as a first response step for your team if an application or server is not responding properly.
Multiple Metric Time Series Widget
Comparing managed elements with Metricly just got easier. The new Multiple Metric Time Series widget lets you plot time series data for several elements on one graph for at-a-glance comparisons. For example, you could monitor CPU performance for multiple servers on one graph or cross compare CPUs versus network interfaces.
This widget can be added to your custom dashboards along with our other custom reporting features.
